  • People (Minimum): 2
  • Materials: Colored papers (A4 or larger), Scissors, Colored pencils or paint, Glue, Measuring ruler or tape measure

How To

  1. Paper Airplane Preparation: Give each player some colored papers. Players create paper airplanes of their own design using paper. Anyone can personalize, paint or decorate their plane.
  2. Track Preparation: Determine the playing area. Create a start and finish line at a specific distance inside or outside a room. If the weather is clear, creating an outdoor rink might be more fun.
  3. Airplane Race: Players throw the paper planes they have prepared into the air at the same time from the starting line. Airplanes fly along the designated runway.
  4. Distance Measurement: When each player's plane reaches the finish line, measure the distance. Using a measuring ruler or tape measure, determine how many feet each player's plane has flown.
  5. Scoring: Score based on distance. The player who reaches the longest distance goes first, the player who reaches the second longest distance comes second, and so on. If you want, you can also give additional points by adding additional categories such as creativity or design.
  6. Rematch or Tournament: After the first race, you can organize a rematch or tournament between players.

This activity both encourages creativity and provides physical activity. Additionally, having everyone design and race their own plane creates an enjoyable moment of competition and sharing within the group.
